The grandmother is a peasant farmer who mainly produces for food. What she gets from farming is in most cases not even enough for food.
David is a bright boy.
David went to Kayogo Primary School where he always performed impressively. Kayogo primary school is among the lowliest rated in the region. He is currently a form 2 student at Kamnara Secondary School where he continues to show impressive results. He has huge balances in arrears and has to spend significant lengths of time at home for fees. Without sponsorship, he doesn’t stand a chance at school. Life is extremely difficult for David, the sister and the grandmother who cannot meet their daily needs. He is an extremely humble, disciplined and hardworking boy. We believe that with sponsorship, David is likely to thrive academically to lift himself the sister and the grandmother out of extreme poverty.
For USD 184 annually David has a chance to be in school.
It would cost Kenya shillings 18810 annually to support David through Secondary education. He will need a four year support to be through with Secondary education.
