Edwin Willis Ochieng

Edwin Willis Ochieng is 18 years of age. He is a total orphan and has to rely on his aged maternal grandmother Siliper Obilo for support. He lives with the grandmother and two siblings in Bondo. Other siblings include 22 year old Rebecca Ongoma and 20 year old Margaret Atieno, both of whom have no income.
The guardian has no income at all.
The grandmother has no income at all and has often been at the mercy of fellow villagers. Well-wishers have been able to contribute 1000 for willis’ education. To date, Willis has only paid 1000 in school and is hugely in arrears.
Willis is an extremely bright and industrious boy.

For 308 USD annually, Edwin has a chance to be in school.
It costs Kenya shillings 31,431 annually to support Edwin. He is hugely in arrears. The only money he has paid in school is the 1000 that was contributed by well-wishers. He has to make do without most basic needs.
Life is extremely difficult for Edwin, the grandmother and the siblings. He needs support both at home and in school. Given a chance to be in school, this child will definitely make it in life through education to become a responsible, employable adult in future. Considering the huge arrears that Edwin has in school, he will need a four year support to be through with his secondary education.
